Imagine this: you go to boot your Windows NT system and nothing happens, not even the Blue Screen of Death! You can't boot, no matter what you do, and all your company records are on that drive in that NTFS partition. Your PC does not even know the hard drive is there. You haven't backed up your drive in weeks. You think of your customer data base and your financial records, and you get a sinking feeling in your heart. You have been busted, and your wallet is going to tell the tale.
So what do you do?
You call a data recovery expert. $1500 to $5000 later you get the drive back with MOST of your data recovered. After you wake up from your wallet's near-death experience, you resolve NEVER to get taken again, and always to back up your data.
Yeah, sure.
Well, here's the GOOD NEWS. Drive Master NT costs a lot less, lets you recover your own data, just like the experts do, and technical support is FREE. If you're not an expert, don't worry. You can become one after a few successful recovery jobs with our product!
Drive Master NT is a drive recovery software solution that you MUST HAVE. With it you can rebuild the master and partition boot records (MBR, PBR) ANY NTFS 4.0 or Windows 2000 (NTFS 5) Hard Drive, and thus you can recover from a catastrophic destruction of those boot records by a pernicious virus!
NTFS is the high-performance file system used natively by Windows NT. It is a database-style file system that is more complicated than FAT systems for DOS and Windows 95/98. It offers more security, and is structured very differently from FAT systems. So, it requires a special recovery technology.
Drive Master NT runs under Windows NT, and it reconstructs the boot records as necessary to recovery from most virus infections and catastrophic structure damage caused by viruses, system crashes, and unruly programs. Notice how easy it is to understand the main screen:

Drive Master NT is perfectly safe because it reconstructs the drive organization in memory and lets you verify it before writing it to the drive. The on-line help is very robust, and guides you step-by-step through the recovery process. It does not move files, but fixes them on the drive they are on. It recovers drives that are so damaged they will not boot.
The recovery process allows you to save and then reinstate the old structure so that if the damage cannot be repaired, you can return the drive to its pre-recovery state. This allows you to try other recovery options without the danger that Drive Master NT caused even more damage, as other recovery tools do.
The step-by-step recovery procedure is given in an easy to understand hypertext manual that contains screen shots of every option. Also, on-line help available within the program

Like anybody, you want a guarantee that these products will 100% recover 100% of your drive and files. We do NOT guarantee this. If you want such a guarantee, be willing to spend $1000, $5000, or even $10,000 for a recovery activity. In fact, before we will sell our recovery tools to you, we require that you sign a disclaimer in which you stipulate that you do not expect 100% recovery of all drives, and that you will not request a refund if the product does not recover your particular drive.
Why do we do this? Because we know nothing about YOUR drive or YOUR situation and skill level. While there is a strong likelihood that our products WILL recover your specific drive, both of us know that there are some drives that cannot be recovered. The data can be missing, written over, fragmented, or scrambled in a way that makes recovery virtually impossible for a single software tool. Or the drive may be electronically or mechanically damaged, making recovery impossible without tearing the drive apart in a clean room, replacing components, and then trying to bring the drive up. Our products are not intended for such situations.
Recovery laboratories repair drives in both simple and difficult situations, and even they cannot guarantee 100% recovery of 100% of the drives. Furthermore, they use a variety of hardware and software tools that are so specialized the average well-educated PC technician would be unable to use them effectively. So, it would be a little crazy for us to guarantee that our software can do 100% recovery of 100% of the drives.
Here's the idea of our software: For many years major data recovery companies have been skimming the cream from the recovery business, making unwitting victims out of at least 60% of their clients. How? Very simply, about 60% of the recovery problems are EASY and FAST to do, yet those companies could get away with charging their clients $500 to $3000 for a recovery job that takes less than an hour. They have steadfastly refused to sell their tools to the professional technicians because they would lose a vast amount of revenue. For that reason they hate companies like ours who sell cost-effective tools that can recover 60% or more of the recoverable drives to an estimated 97% level.
Our recovery tools are intended to let you get and keep some of that "easy" money for yourself. You make a one-time investment in a tool that costs less than a half a kilobuck ($500). Then, you use that tool to recover an unlimited number of drives at $300 each. You make a good income and your customers get a good deal. You pay for the tool the first two or three times you use it. That makes it a great investment for you, whether you are a professional technician, a corporate MIS director, a PC support manager for a University, or a radioman aboard a nuclear submarine.
Our recovery tools are thus "statistically valid". Even though they will not recover all drives, they will recover many drives, enough to be a VERY cost-effective alternative to a professional data recovery service. Now ordinary computer technicians can add "professional" drive recovery to the services they offer their customers. Such recovery jobs can be priced from $200 to $500, very fair for the customer compared to the $500 to $5000 they would otherwise have to pay.
So, if you want a 100% recovery guarantee, you have come to the wrong place. If you want to save or earn money on a spectrum of recovery jobs, you have come to the right place, and our products are right for you. If other companies selling similar products do not explain this to you, don't wonder why. They know that by telling you the truth they can lose sales. We know that this recovery guarantee disclaimer will cost us sales too. But we also know that the sales we make will be to relatively happy customers who have no illusions about the likelihood of getting data back from hard drives that won't boot or seem scrambled. Our support calls will be lower and everyone will be as satisfied as they could possibly be under the circumstances.
What we do guarantee is that the diskettes for the product are functional, and that the product itself is functional when run under DOS on a normal AT, EISA, ISA, or PCI-style computer with an Intel-compatible x86 CPU. If there is a problem with the diskettes or basic functionality of the program, we will replace the disk. We also guarantee that we will give you free telephone support to discuss any difficulty you have using the program and suggest techniques that may help.
We are NOT in the data recovery business, but we do offer back-up support services for those who buy our recovery tools. This is how our support works:
If you own our tools and you have trouble repairing a drive, you can call our recovery support line. It is not a toll-free number, but the support itself is free. We will explain how to use the program to recover your drive, and lead you to a determination of whether the recovery is possible under the circumstances.
If you own Drive Master 2000 and have the remote client disk, we may be able to recover the drive in question for you over the telephone. There is a charge for this service of $100 (whether we recover the drive or not). If we recover the drive and the job is long and tedious, there will be an additional charge of $100. If we cannot recover any of the drive, then your maximum payment will be $100. In other words, it is $100 to look and do an easy fix, and another $100 for a hard-to-do fix. You pay via credit card only.
