No Special Tools
FloppyTune users modern, patented technology. With ordinary knowledge of the PC, you can clean the heads, run the software, and assess the condition of the drive. Then, you can use the on-screen display and a normal screwdriver to align the heads, without an oscilloscope or other expensive equipment.

Near-Lab Accuracy
FloppyTune tests all alignment characteristics to within .2 mils and is repeatable to within .3%, similar to what you would expect in a laboratory. Measurements conform to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) floppy definition. So, if your drive passes FloppyTune, it is compatible with internationally accepted standards.
You Need FloppyTune
